Liberation Run 6th May, 2001

Liberation Day is a time when the Channel Islands remember their first day of freedom from occupation by the Nazis during World War II, and lots of people celebrate this in many ways. We as a Club like to adorn our Minis with bunting and drive around the Island.

We started the day off with our usual monthly meeting down at Vazon Bay followed by a very satisfying traditional lunch at the Pony Inn. Our Run then took us around the Coast and through St Peter Port - a very enjoyable day was had by all who attended.

We look forward to seeing you at our Annual Mini Show on the 9th June 2002!
