MS Outlook

If you have Microsoft Office 97 or later, you may use Microsoft Outlook for sending and receiving Email. Use the following guide to help you setup Outlook:

Open MS Outlook.

Open Outlook. Select Services from the Tools menu.

If Internet mail is not installed as a service, click add, select Internet Mail, then click OK. If the Internet Mail service is already installed, proceed to the next step.

Click on Internet Mail, then click Properties. You will get the windows shown below, which are filled with example entries. Enter the relevant information into the correct fields.

Make sure the server names, account name and password are in lowercase (and that caps-lock is turned off when typing them) When you have done this, click on advanced options, then proceed to the next step.

Click the 'Advanced Options' button and fill in the advanced options settings as shown below. Click OK when you have done this

Select the connection tab, You should then get a page as shown below. Select the options as shown. Click on Login As... then proceed to the next step.

Enter your username and normal password. Make sure both are in lowercase (and that caps-lock is turned off)

Click OK, then OK again. You should now be able to send and receive email from Microsoft Outlook You can test this by sending an email to yourself.
