SAVE  St SAMPSON'S
             AS A
WORKING, DRYING
    TRADITIONAL
       HARBOUR
  NO to a MARINA

Nothing changes, another act of Governmental vandalism on St Peter Port if the old prison is not partly incorporated in the new Court buildings.

Approx . 25,000 tons of sediment to be removed from the Harbour bed and cleaned. Cost approx. 20 per Cu Mtr (approx 1.5 tons). This will leave the Harbour bed rock strewn and incapable of having drying moorings.

WHY NOT REFILL IT WITH CLEAN SAND. EASILY IMPORTED, EASILY LAID AND FAR MORE IN KEEPING WITH THE AREA.

This website has been set up in an effort to persuade visitors to it that St Sampson's is worth keeping as a traditional working drying harbour.
Clean up the harbour bed, yes, but don't put in a marina with a shallow inner harbour only capable of taking small craft packed on pontoons , thus destroying the feeling of space and taking away the character that is St Sampson's.

Think how cluttered this will look with pontoons
