The Guernsey Sporting Club is established to promote the association of all amateur sportsmen for the advancement of sport in the Island, as a lasting memorial to the Officers, N.C.O's and Men of the First Guernsey Contingent, who sacrificed there lives in the Great War 1914-1918.
